Pro Bono Coordinator/Senior Attorney Oversee the recruitment, training, and mentoring of pro bono attorneys taking on cases in the areas of racial, economic, and immigrant justice.  Manage LCCR’s law clerk program and assist with mentoring and supervision of junior attorneys engaged in impact litigation and policy work.

The General Counsel of the University of California seeks an attorney to advise on research compliance issues.  The position, which is based in the General Counsel's office in Oakland, reports to the Deputy General Counsel, Educational and Campus Affairs, and will counsel clients, and interact with regulators, regarding identification and mitigation of high risk areas in campus research, export control regulations, human subject and animal welfare regulation, environmental health and safety, research integrity and misconduct, and research contracts, including conflict of interest issues. Key clients will include faculty on all ten campuses, the Vice Chancellors for Research, the Vice Provost for Research, and the Senior Vice President for Compliance and Audit.
